We've had a blast performing over the years! Here are some samples of what we've been up to.
Remember the old Junction City Music Hall? The foul smell, limited seating, and men's room1970's softcore porn? Well, we miss that place, too! Fortunately, new owners cleaned up the space, turned it into an unpretentious "nicer" venue, and renamed it Junction Underground. Thanks to all who came to see PMH rock 2 sets in the new & improved version of one of our favourite Junction-neighbourhood venues. And, thanks to DJ Jason "The Boogie Man" Hynes for a great night fantastic rare grooves!
Poor Man's High was back once again for the annual Queen West Art Crawl in Trinity Bellwoods Park!. Thanks to all who joined us for this FAMILY-FRIENDLY, FREE event. We'll took the stage at 12PM for a 45-min set of upbeat crowd favourites. Hope to see you there again next year!!!
Poor Man's High was incredibly honoured and excited to bring our high-energy show to the 25th anniversary edition of Romero House's Wanda Road Street Party! The road was closed off for the afternoon into the night for the party and the weather and energetic crowd were stunning! What a fabulous way to meet the community in a friendly, open air environment. Thanks so much to everyone who joined us!
PMH burned down the Garrison with a blazing hot opening set for our first-ever 4/(20+1) party with Toronto's own The Human Rights! The amazing night was supported by world-class local DJs Jay NuFunk and DJ Chocolate on the 1's and 2's who kept the crowd rocking to reggae until the wee hours.
3 great bands and multiple music genres (funk, rock, reggae, soul) made for one amazing night! Thanks to everyone who braved a huge snowstorm and warded off the February blahs with PMH, Bad Breed, and Death In Digital at the ever-legendary Horseshoe Tavern.
Performing for the 1st time at the legendary Linsmore Tavern, we delivered our blend of Funk n' Reggae to Rock n' Soul to Toronto's East End! Our show staved off the typical post-New Year's lull and set the century-old venue ablaze! Thanks to all the diehard partiers who helped us start the new year with a bang!
Thanks to everyone who joined us for another great night of holiday season cheer as we brought our candycane-coated LIVE Funk n' Reggae to Rock n' Soul to the always fabulous 3030 Dundas West in Toronto's funkiest neighbourhood.

Our first on-stage show since the start of the pandemic was a smashing success! We returned to our favourite live venue -- 3030 in the Junction -- just in time for our annual holiday party. Through the good graces of the Universe, we managed to sneak in the event literally on THE last night before the final lockdown of 2021! Thanks again to everyone who joined us. :D
Poor Man's High continued to be a favourite at the annual QWAC and we were back for the 2021 edition! The festival was online again due to Covid. Our pre-recorded show featuring brand new songs debuted on Sunday September 19th and closed out the festival.
Poor Man's High had been a favourite at the annual QWAC three times prior to the Covid Pandemic! In 2020, the festival was online due to Covid. Our pre-recorded show debuted on Sept 17th and is now available on YouTube. The show includes segments shot in front of a socially distanced live audience (in a laneway!) as well as some fun bits filmed in a studio. https://bit.ly/3ieEt6s

The incredible Fat As F*ck, global groovers The Future Primitive and high-energy up-and-comers Tomacco. rounded an amazing night of live music, homegrown in Toronto!
Poor Man's High with Lese Majesty and friends rang in the holiday season and bade farewell to 2018 in style in our favourite subterranean party place. The Junction City Music Hall was the perfect backdrop for this yuletide spectacle as we played new materials and shared good cheer with friends old and new. Some special treats and activities including a 50/50 draw rounded out the night of fun!
Poor Man's High was back and better than ever at the 2018 Queen West Art Crawl! It was a gorgeous day to play the Performance Stage, southwest corner of Trinity Bellwoods Park in Toronto.
